When architecture is like music frozen in the middle of a city characterized by the art and history, the nature breaks it and stays immersed in the score.
The city's canals, which were created to transport the stones that were going to build the Duomo, have isolated parts of the urban structure, creating passages between its shores that do not guarantee complete accessibility. So some users are forced to walk long distances for something as usual as taking the underground.
The Quartiere di Navigli district is now a touristic and functional icon in Milan, as there are several different activities with diverse time frames, flows and routes.
Our proposal does not only want to solve the accessibility to a certain space. Analyzing the situation, we suggest a global system for the district, with various accessible intersections above the canals, taking into account the flows of people, their movements, and routes registered during the different time frames and activities.
